  >>> - Black day for the Team Amadeus X-One
at Doha 8 Hour qualifying
The Paolo Tessari’s bad accident put into difficulties the Team Amadeus X-One during the final qualifying day at Doha 8 Hour.
Despite the very good performances of Alessandro Polita and Willy Gruy, who had remarkably improved their laptimes, the laptime average recorded by the three riders which defined the grid positions has been strongly conditioned by the fact that Tessari has been forced to miss his qualifying session.
So the Team Amadeus X-One recorded ha the eleventh fastest, a position which keep out the Italian team from Superpole.
Of course the Team manager Maurizio Bargiacchi is disappointed and worried: “The accident of Tessari did upset all our plans. Both Alex and Willy did strive with night and main and improved a lot their qualifying time, but unfortunately that’s been not enough to grab the Superpole group, a goal that we failed only for 0,2 seconds. Tomorrow we’ll see in warm up session if Paolo could be able to get the start, at the moment the wrist gives him a hard pain, and to race without his great experience is a low blow to our ambitions.”
The start of Doha 8 Hour will take place tomorrow, Saturday November 14th, at 1 p.m. local time (11 a.m. Italian time) for an arrival at 9 p.m. From pole will start the Yamaha Phase One mschine.
