The 2010 Bol d’Or 2010 will be a decisive round of the Qtel FIM Endurance World Championship, both for Superbike class as for Superstock, where five of the main contenders for the title have a small gap of 18 points, as 35 points are to be taken by the winner of the next 24 hours race.
For FIM World Cup reserved for Superstock machines, the Yamaha X-One, unlucky in Le Mans but impressive class’ winner at Albacete, will try a strong assault to the current leader Suzuki Qatar Endurance, as well we’ll have to keep an eye on a lot of strong contenders racing for the success on the French track.
For 2010 Bol d’Or the Team X-One will have, side by Emiliano Bellucci and Jean-Louis Devoyon, the rookie Gianluca Vizziello, while the unlucky Luca Bono, who has still pain in his backbone, will have the reserve job as fourth rider.
The first qualifying sessions will take place on Thursday, September 9th on the Nevers Magny Cours racetrack.
Gianluca Vizziello was born in Policoro, close to Potenza in the South of Italy, on 1980, March 3rd, and after his debut when was very young in the Singles Yamaha Trophy, became a regular contender in the events for 4 stroke bikes, as Superstock and Supersport, earning the respect of all the international circus for his determination and his speed. The French event will be his debut in the Endurance events arena.
